A PC keyboard will be adequate to participate in any social media site.

During a social media event put on by one of the local network groups, the presenter came out and said if you do not have a Blackberry or an iPhone, there is no reason to be on Twitter. Yikes! I thought the people at my table were going to faint. Most of them came to learn how to use the various social media outlets, not be told to go buy another piece of technology. As discretely as I could, I assured them that having a PC or laptop SOME kind of connection is all they needed for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace or whatever they were trying to learn.

For me, I prefer a full keyboard for a simple reason – I have arthritis in both thumbs and wrists and texting instant messages or full Tweets more than a few times a day can be painful. Right now, I have a hard time justifying the extra $30+ to pay for the Blackberry service, although I do drool over the Blackberry Storm.
